In a time when a little normality was needed the most, The North Westmeath Hospice went ahead with their annual hospice coffee morning. But instead of their usual office coffee morning, they rented a Coffee Cart called ‘Hot to Trot’ and sold teas, coffees and baked goods on their Market square for two days in September. Under the protection of a Gazebo, the North Westmeath Hospice fundraising committee were able to socially distance while creating a colourful display and raising much needed funds for their local palliative care team. The community of Mullingar and surrounding areas were very generous making 2020 one of their best Coffee Mornings to date.
