In September The Friends of St Brigid’s Hospice, in partnership with the HSE, will reopen their newly refurbished and extended Hospice unit on the Curragh. The Friends of St Brigid’s Hospice will now have a 13 bedded unit, a six bed increase on current facilities and also a day room. The cost of this project has been funded by their charity through donations received from the communities of Kildare & West Wicklow to the cost of €6 million.
